Training

Training programs at the Center for Public Construction are based on the CPC’s Standard of Efficiency. Instructors have field experience and been part of successful public projects.

The curriculum is designed to help owners successfully reduce or eliminate waste in public projects. It is based on a well-tested approach that has been applied successfully to public projects of all kinds for over fifteen years. They are designed in a way to encourage participants to become Certified Public Construction Managers (PCA). It consists of courses that give owners the ability to control costs. Together with events that bring all groups of stakeholders together, the training focuses on priorities and connects schools with government entities of all kinds. In this way, they provide the skills, attitudes, and tools that are necessary to encourage and promote cooperation, communication, and understanding to plan, create, manage, and maintain public construction projects that are extraordinary.
